When your child turns 18, they will earn their Marine Vocational Program diploma, which will expand their employment opportunities. Here are some careers they will be ready for:

U.S. Merchant Marines

U.S. Coast Guard

U.S. Navy

Seafarers

Please note, your child still needs to graduate high school!

We provide hands-on, on the water training with experienced volunteer instructors. Here’s what your child will learn:

Entry Level Beach Training

We meet on Saturdays from 9:30am – 2:30 or 4:30pm.

The mission of the Marine Vocational Program, Inc. is to give St. Thomas youths a viable career path in the marine and hospitality industries, as they are two of the biggest economic sectors in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
